Tell us your preferences
JMI does not sell or otherwise share any subscriber information with marketers outside JMI who may want to offer you their own products and services. You don't need to take any action to prevent disclosure of information.
Making the security of information a priorityKeeping information secure is one of our most important responsibilities. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect subscriber information. JMI staff is authorized to access subscriber information only when they need to provide you with products and services or to maintain your accounts. Our staff is bound by a code of ethics that requires confidential treatment of subscriber information and are subject to disciplinary action if they fail to follow this code.
Collecting informationWe collect and use various types of information to service your accounts, save you time and money, and better respond to your needs.
Managing information within JMIWe manage how and when information is shared within JMI, consultants that work with us and in other situations. For example, if you open an account we may share information you have provided us to save you time, not HAVING to furnish the information twice.
Managing information with companies and consultants that work with usThese companies might assist us, for example, in fulfilling your service requests or needs in concert with JMI. All companies who work on our behalf are contractually obligated to keep the information we provide them confidential, and use the subscriber information we share to only provide the services we ask them to perform for you and us. We might share subscriber information with companies that work for us to provide other services with which we have joint marketing agreements.
Honoring preferencesSharing among companies and consultants.
You may request that registration information not
be shared among JMI staff and companies. However, through the normal
course of doing business, we will continue to share general information
among JMI staff and companies to service your account and better meet
your needs.
You can choose to not receive marketing from us by direct
mail, telephone and/or e-mail. This offer applies to offers FROM us
about our products and services and other products that we think may
be of interest to you, including those offered by joint marketing agreements.
If you elect not to receive product information by direct mail, telephone
or e-mail, you will continue to:
Be contacted as necessary to service your account.
Be contacted by your JMI relationship manager or
assigned account representative, if applicable.
Receive marketing information included with your
regular account mailings and when you visit us online.
To help you understand how we record your preferences
about sharing subscriber information you should know that:
Your preferences will be honored among JMI and
our associated companies.
Once you have told us your preferences, they will
remain in effect until you tell us to change them.
Since some marketing programs may be in effect,
it may take six to eight weeks for your preferences to be fully effective.
Keeping your account information accurate and up to date is very important. If your account information is inaccurate or not current, please call us or write to us. We promptly update or correct any erroneous information.
If you have questions or feel that we have not handled information about you properly, you may contact us through our customer service telephone or e-mail center, and we will investigate your inquiry or complaint.
Reduce direct marketing from other companiesIf you wish to reduce the amount of advertising you receive from companies outside of JMI, you can contact the following agencies:

Be sure to include complete information about each name, address, telephone number and e-mail address you would like excluded FROM these lists. If you have moved within the past year, remember to include your old address and phone number. The same is true for name changes and the addresses and phone numbers associated with each name.
